Jamal MurrayPG, Denver NuggetsJamal Murray was limping up and down the floor almost all game long on Saturday as he was bothered by the swelling of his right knee contusion but it didn't stop him from still producing 19 points on 7-of-17 FGs and 5-of-5 FTs.
Murray was a trooper, playing his heart out, knowing that there was no tomorrow if his team lost this game. He was clearly a shadow of his usual self, often deferring to his teammates to score as his knee issue kept him from doing most of his normal Jamal Murray things. Playing 43 minutes, Murray added four rebounds, eight assists, one steal and five turnovers, missing all four shot attempts from deep. Despite suffering a painful loss tonight, both physically and emotionally, Murray is looking primed for superstardom in fantasy basketball next season.
