LeBron JamesSF, Los Angeles LakersThe NBA has announced that 16 players have tested positive for COVID-19, out of 302 tests overall.
This only covers the tests administered on June 23. Players who test positive will now self-isolate. The league wants players and teams to prepare to head to Florida, where over 14% of tests returned positive yesterday, with the state adding 9,000 new cases in a single day. This pool's 5.3% positive rate is paltry by comparison but there are still many hurdles to clear before the season officially gets back on track.
