University of Colorado junior forward Tyler Bey (6-foot-7, 218 pounds) has announced his plans to leave his name in the 2020 NBA draft. Bey played 99 career games at Colorado and averaged 13.8 PTS, 9.0 REB, 1.5 STL and 1.2 BLK during his final season in 2019-2020 (shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic).
Bey's stock definitely improved with his strong showing as a junior, but his potential role on an NBA roster has yet to be determined. His 3-point shooting improved immensely this past season, as he put up a 41.9 percentage from deep (Bey shot 30.5 percent for his career with the Buffaloes). Bey currently projects as a late first-round or, more than likely, a second-round selection.
