Aleksej Pokusevski

The Thunder will select center Aleksej Pokusevski with the 17th pick in the draft, per Shams Charania.

No. 17 is currently in Minnesota's possession but is set to be included in a trade that sends Ricky Rubio to the Wolves. Pokusevski is one of the most intriguing players in this draft class, standing 7'0" with a 7'3" wingspan and the game of a guard. He's a creative passer and capable floor-spacer, though he may need a year or two to develop his body to the point that it's ready for the rigors of NBA action. The potential here is off the charts and the Thunder have been connected to Pokusevski throughout draft season, so it's no surprise that they pulled the trigger on a trade up to take him.
