Per ESPN, there are NBA teams pushing to have the draft delayed until August at the earliest.
This will all depend on when or if the season can resume, of course, but it sounds as though teams are largely opposed to holding the draft while teams are still playing. That makes sense given the number of trades that impact draft night — transactions that can't happen while games are still going on. May 1 remains the earliest date that Adam Silver will make any announcements about the league calendar, but it would be surprising if the draft and free agency weren't tied together on a usual schedule. Teams are also hoping that a delay will allow them to gather more information on prospects, and potentially even have some in-person meetings assuming the social distancing guidelines are relaxed.
