PF, New Orleans Pelicans

Derrick Favors is expected to have contact with the Pelicans and Jazz when free agency begins, per The Athletic's Tony Jones.

Favors returning to Utah would be an interesting wrinkle, though it never seemed like the Jazz wanted to force him out the door so the relationship should still be good. It's unclear if he'd be going back to start at power forward or if Favors' market consists of backup center work at this point — in New Orleans he profiles as a lower-minute starter. There are reportedly additional teams interested, but Favors, whose market has been quiet up til now, has at least two teams at his doorstep.
