Damyean Dotson is an unrestricted free agent after the Knicks declined to extend him a qualifying offer.

Dotson was a standout on some bad Knicks teams as a rookie and sophomore but faded into the background on an equally bad Knicks team last season, and he seemed to be on the outs with the way New York added to its wing group last offseason. There was rumored trade interest from teams like Detroit and Utah around the deadline so Dotson should be able to land on his feet.
