Kentavious Caldwell-PopeSG, Los Angeles LakersKentavious Caldwell-Pope will opt out of his player option and test free agency, according to Shams Charania.
No player earned themselves more money with a strong playoff performance than Caldwell-Pope, who got hot at the right time and turned into the 3-and-D player that the Lakers were hoping Danny Green would be. He's expected to have multiple suitors and may be lured away from the Lakers by a larger payday given his modest recent contracts. KCP probably won't be a standard-league target when the dust settles, but it's not an impossibility.
