Domantas SabonisC, Indiana PacersAdrian Wojnarowski is reporting that Dave Joerger is a strong contender for the Pacers' coaching job.
Chauncy Billups and Pelicans assistant Chris Finch are also on the list of Pacers' interviewees, and they have previously been linked to Mike D'Antoni as well. Joerger was surprisingly fired by the Kings two years ago after steering the team back towards the playoffs, and their lackluster play since hiring Luke Walton may work to help his candidacy around the league. Whatever happens, the Pacers are going to have to nail this hire as rumors about Victor Oladipo's future begin to swirl.
