Wendell Carter Jr. tallied 18 points, 13 rebounds, four assists and a 3-pointer while going 7-of-12 from the field on Thursday night.
Carter also played 36 minutes against Rudy Gobert and the Jazz, so this is a nice game in a tough spot from the youngster. WCJ is sitting right around the top-100 mark on the year, disappointing GMs who took him deeper in the middle rounds thanks to his top-50 upside. Carter's block rate has dipped after a promising 1.3 swats in 25.2 mpg as a rookie, and if that can rebound in the second half of the year then he'll cruise to top-70 returns. Keep the faith.
