Otto Porter Jr.SF, Chicago BullsIn the view of K.C. Johnson of NBC Sports Chicago, the Bulls are searching for long-term options at the forward spot beyond Otto Porter.
The largest problem in this situation is Porter's ability to stay healthy. He's only appeared in 29 games for the Bulls since being acquired from the Wizards, and it is difficult for the Bulls to view him as a cornerstone until he proves as much on the court for them. In all likelihood, Porter will pick up his $28,500,000 player-option this offseason, and he'll have a lot to prove in order to increase his earning power on the open market. There is still an effective two-way player in Porter, but his last two seasons have been walloped by injuries and the current stoppage in play.
