Per Shams Charania, the Sixers are finalizing a trade that would send Josh Richardson and the No. 36 overall pick to the Mavericks for Seth Curry.

The Sixers have cleaned house on draft day, first freeing themselves of Al Horford's contract and now sending out Richardson. The forward's contract wasn't nearly as bad as Horford's but it did seem like he didn't quite fit in with the team's structure. Curry was an excellent shooter last season and should give the Sixers the exact kind of piece they need to help their stars excel. Richardson could absolutely see his role increase in Dallas, which has a decidedly less crowded lineup.
