The NBA has informed its team that they're now allowed to hold group practices, workouts and scrimmages with up to 10 players.

The league had previously been limiting the capacity of practice facilities, and while this is still a restriction, things are easing up. Perhaps the NBA is feeling confident in its protocols after they pulled off the restart in the Orlando bubble, but this is coming when the vast majority of North America is dealing with rising rates of COVID-19 cases. It's also important to remember that this move is coming with the negotiations over next season's start date in the background, with team owners pushing for a quick December 22 start date to make as much TV money as possible.
