Shams Charania of The Athletic is reporting that former Clippers coach Doc Rivers is expected to meet with the Sixers in the Philadelphia area.

The Sixers are taking their time to execute a thorough coaching search, with an emphasis on a coach that will be able to connect with both Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid. Ty Lue and Mike D’Antoni have already interviewed with Philadelphia and Rivers is another name who has shown the ability to coach big NBA names.
