Marc GasolC, Toronto RaptorsAccording to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Marc Gasol has emerged as a free agent target for the NBA Champion Lakers in the wake of Dwight Howard's agreement with the Sixers.
Only an hour ago, Howard tweeted a re-commitment to the Lakers and the city of Los Angeles, only to take it down minutes later. Now, after a reported agreement between Howard and the Sixers, the Lakers are focusing on another veteran center in Gasol. The Raptors have seemingly moved on from the 12-year NBA vet and the Lakers seem like as good a spot as any for Gasol. After all, the Lakers traded Marc's draft rights to the Grizzlies for his brother, Pau Gasol, whom they employed for many fruitful years afterward.
