Jimmy ButlerSG, Miami HeatRamona Shelburne reported that the Miami Heat opened their practice facility on Wednesday.
12 players attended American Airlines Arena for voluntary workouts under the NBA's guidelines. The guidelines state that a maximum of four players can attend the facility at any given time and each player must practice at one hoop by themselves. It's encouraging to see individual workouts starting up, but the timeline remains unclear until teams can run full practices. The consensus is that teams will need at least three weeks of training camp before returning to games, and that can't happen until teams are able to run full practices with all team members participating together.
