• Julius Randle
    PF, New York Knicks

Marc Berman of the New York Post speculates that Leon Rose will consider trading Julius Randle or decline picking up the latter's contract option for the 2021-22 season.

Randle signed a three-year, $63 million deal with the Knicks last summer, though the third and final season is obviously not his call. There's been some rumored discontent with Randle's ball dominant play style, especially as it hinders the development of the other young Knicks. The big man was shooting a ghastly .277 from deep this season, and unless that improves — he shot .344 last season but had never been better than .278 in the previous three seasons — a trade could be a hard sell.
