According to Danny Green, "I wouldn't expect [LeBron James] to be there for the 1st month of the season" if it begins in December.

It has been just over two weeks since the Lakers finished off their title run, so it makes sense that players like James would like a longer offseason to recharge. However, this is just speculation on Green's part and we are sure to hear more about this subject in the weeks ahead. The league has proposed a December 22 start date for next season.
