Paul Millsap had one of his better games of the playoffs on Thursday, turning 24 minutes into 13 points, nine rebounds, three steals, two blocks and a 3-pointer.

It had been thought that the Nuggets were limiting Millsap's regular-season run to keep him fresh for the playoffs, but so far he's below his average of 24.5 mpg. The Sapper has now played 29, 18, 17, 35, 19, 19, 14 and 24 minutes over his eight playoff contests and simply hasn't looked all that effective. He's supposed to be the Nuggets' defensive anchor but they got shredded again tonight with the Clippers basically scoring at will. Millsap started alongside Jerami Grant as the Nuggets went big but they're going to need to be better than they were tonight to stand a chance. Grant had 12 points, three assists and three triples in 26 minutes.
