Norman PowellSF, Toronto RaptorsNorman Powell made the most of his start on Friday, turning 23 minutes into 15 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal, a block and three 3-pointers.
Powell got off to a slow start in the bubble but turned it up over his last few games, scoring 21, 17, 15 and now 23 points in his tune-up for the playoffs. He's coming off a career season and should be an important part of Toronto's playoff rotation. With the Raptors resting multiple regulars today, Powell was joined in the starting five by Matt Thomas (12 points, two threes) and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (six points, six rebounds, one block). That duo is right on the cusp of the postseason rotation and might be deployed situationally.
