Nikola Mirotic

Nikola Mirotic has agreed to a new deal with Barcelona that extends through the 2024-25 season.

Mirotic surprisingly went back to Europe last offseason after putting together the best campaign of his career in 2018-19. Players heading overseas is nothing new in the basketball world, but it was a shock that Mirotic and his modern skill set chose to leave the NBA at his peak. This new contract probably takes an NBA return out of the equation for Mirotic, who is entering his age-30 season — but never say never.
