Myles TurnerC, Indiana PacersMyles Turner had a horrendous night against the Nuggets on Sunday, fouling out in 19 minutes, and tallying three points, two rebounds, one assist, one 3-pointer, one steal and three turnovers.
The nail in the coffin was Turner registering zero blocks, and he clearly was not up to the challenge of defending Nikola Jokic in this game. Turner has had three straight games at under 25 minutes, and now would be the time to fire off a buy-low offer if you are interested in his shot-blocking prowess. He is clearly not going to be an early-round talent next to Domantas Sabonis, but he still has the ability to increase his numbers from the 12 points and six rebounds he is currently averaging. The blocks (2.1) and 3-pointers (1.5) will keep him relevant either way. He had some good company in the cellar tonight as Jeremy Lamb flopped to zero points (0-of-7 FG), one rebound, one assist and one block. Both players will be better on Tuesday against the Suns.
