Marcus SmartPG, Boston CelticsMarcus Smart was a solid performer for the Celtics in Friday's Game 5 win over the Heat, working hard on both ends to finish the night with 12 points (3-of-9 FG, 4-of-4 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists, two 3s and four steals.
Smart continues to play the part of quintessential role-player for the Celtics and it has been paying off in a big way. The fiesty defender has been able to contribute in a plethora of ways and will need to keep on doing so, if the Celtics are to keep their NBA Championship dreams alive in Game 6. His partner in the backcourt, Kemba Walker, played just 28 minutes and was good for 15 points (4-of-11 shooting), three treys, two rebounds, seven dimes and one steal.
