Luka DoncicPG-SF, Dallas MavericksLuka Dončić notched his 17th triple-double of the season on Saturday, finishing with 36 points, 14 boards and a career-high 19 assists in a 136-132 overtime victory over the Bucks.
Dončić erupted for a new career-high in assists and seemed driven to win at all costs. It should be noted that the Bucks have already locked up the top seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs, but they definitely seemed to be trying on Saturday evening. To no avail, however, for Dončić had plenty to say on that front. He is a finalist for the Most Improved Player Award and rightfully so; it seems like only a matter of time before he's up for awards like the NBA's Most Valuable Player. The 21-year-old puts on quite the show on a basketball court.
