LeBron JamesSF, Los Angeles LakersLeBron James (sore right groin) triple-doubled in Tuesday's Game 3 loss to the Nuggets, tallying 30 points on 14-of-23 shooting, adding 10 rebounds, 11 assists, one 3-pointer, two steals and two blocks for an overall well-rounded performance.
Tonight was an example of why James, alone, is not enough for the Lakers to count on. The Nuggets simply have too many weapons that can offset James' production. From a stats perspective, there's nothing to scoff at in James' line. He did it on both ends, but simply lacked the support he needed to secure the win. The good news is that his performance tonight shows that the right groin issue is more of a non-factor at this point.
