Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Knicks.

Kidd-Gilchrist did not turn out to be a star after being selected second overall in 2012 but at 27-years old, should and will continue to get work for his defensive ability. After eight seasons in Charlotte, he had a brief stint with the Mavs at the end of last season. Averaging under 20 minutes per game in each of the last two seasons has taken him off the fantasy radar and not much should change as he adds some depth off the bench to the two forward spots in New York.
