Jonas Valanciunas put up an efficient effort for the Grizzlies in Friday's loss to the Pelicans before fouling out, recording 18 points (8-of-13 shooting), eight rebounds, one steal and four blocks.

Valanciunas has been a steady top-50 play throughout the season and projects to finish 2019-20 along that mark. He's still the Grizzlies' go-to scorer in the paint, with Jaren Jackson Jr. playing further from the basket. They're complementary pieces in a dynamic frontcourt with roles locked in for the second-half stretch.
