John CollinsPF, Atlanta HawksJohn Collins will be seeking an extension from the Hawks during the offseason.
Based upon his raw numbers in year three with the Hawks, Collins can certainly make the case for a max-level extension. While he missed 25 games due to a violation of the NBA's Anti-Drug Program, but he delivered the goods upon his return with 21.6 points, 10.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.4 treys, .8 steals, 1.6 blocks and just 1.8 turnovers per game. He also provided healthy percentages from the field (.583) and line (.800). There is plenty to like, and while it has not resulted in victories in Atlanta, the Hawks would look foolish to frustrate a young up-and-comer like Collins during negotiations.
