Joel EmbiidC, Philadelphia SixersJoel Embiid took full command of the Sixers' offense in an impressive 129-112 win over the Hawks on Monday, exploding for 49 points (career-high) on 17-of-24 shooting from the field and 14-of-15 at the line.
Embiid had himself a night to remember as the Sixers adjusted to the absence of Ben Simmons (back). Embiid added 14 rebounds, one 3-pointer, three assists, three steals and one block to the stat sheet. As the unquestionable Alpha tonight, Embiid feasted and shared the kill for a much-needed win. Expect top-5 caliber games from him while Simmons remains sidelined.
