James HardenPG, Houston RocketsJames Harden carried the Rockets to a 123-108 win over the Thunder in Game 1 of the first round of the Western Conference Playoffs on Tuesday evening, finishing with 37 points and 11 rebounds.
Harden was his usual self and had to carry a large chunk of additional offensive weight with Russell Westbrook (strained right quad) on the sidelines. He went 6-for-13 from deep and 12-for-22 overall from the floor, penetrating the paint on a consistent basis even with Steven Adams waiting in the wings. The drive-and-kick was extremely effective for the Rockets in Game 1 and they will look to continue their strong play in Game 2 on Thursday.
