JaKarr Sampson put up 10 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals in Friday's start against the Heat.
Sampson has been a regular member of Indiana's rotation with Domantas Sabonis out and looks like the favorite for the backup center spot as things stand. He brings great energy to the floor but is going to have a hard time delivering even late-round fantasy appeal unless he gets minutes up in the twenties. His main competition is rookie Goga Bitadze, who posted four points, three rebounds, a steal and two blocks off the bench while playing through left knee soreness. Sampson is probably the safer bet but Bitadze has more upside because of a diverse skillset.
