Fred VanVleetPG, Toronto RaptorsFred VanVleet logged 43 minutes in the Raptors' Game 2 loss on Tuesday evening, finishing with 19 points, five rebounds and seven assists.
Only Pascal Siakam played more minutes (43.5) than VanVleet on Tuesday as the Raptors needed all hands on deck to hang with the Celtics. Even so, they weren't able to pull out the victory and now find themselves in an 0-2 hole in the series. VanVleet, who welcomed his family to the bubble on Monday, struggled shooting the ball from the floor (8-of-22 FG) and from three-point range (3-of-12 FG). The Raptors will need VanVleet and the rest of the troops in top form on Thursday in Game 3.
