Elfrid Payton played well in a loss to the Pelicans on Friday, posting 15 points on 7-of-17 shooting with six rebounds, seven assists and five steals.

Payton showed the strength of his defensive upside tonight and thrived for the shorthanded knicks. He's an end-of-bench level player in standard leagues for his ability to pile on assists and steals.
