Dion Waiters

Dion Waiters (sore left groin), who has been out since Game 2 vs. the Rockets, was spotted on the court taking part in pregame warmups ahead of Tuesday's Game 3.

Waiters was getting very little usage prior to his left groin strain in Game 2 of the Lakers' previous playoff series. He had only suited up for five of the seven games up to that point. Nonetheless, the Lakers could use another rotation piece after the likes of Rajon Rondo, Alex Caruso and Markieff Morris. Waiters seems to very close to a return to action, it just may not come on Tuesday.
