D'Angelo Russell scored 22 points on 7-of-17 shooting to go with three rebounds, five assists, three steals and three triples on Thursday.
Russell played up to his standards tonight and is actually an appealing player to hang onto for the back half of the season. With Stephen Curry (hand) returning at some point, the Warriors front office wants to see how he and Russell play together. The injury risk is there, but Russell carries a lot more upside than Draymond Green and has some sneaky value in the back half of the year.
