Damion Lee will be sent down to the G League as he continues to negotiate a multi-year deal with the Warriors and will miss Sunday's game against the Grizzlies as a result.

This is just confirmation regarding Lee's status, since his appearance on the injury report perplexed more than a few beat writers on Saturday. He's actually reached the total limit of NBA games he's allowed to play in while on a two-way contract and, though momentum towards a guaranteed deal was widely reported last week, Lee has yet to officially sign with the team. As such, it's back to the G League for him momentarily. It's a bit of a downer for Lee, who's been shaky lately for the Warriors, but he's nowhere near being a drop given his hot stretch a few weeks ago.
