Alex CarusoSG, Los Angeles LakersAlex Caruso recently discussed his increased playing time during the playoffs and his willingness to be more aggressive, something the Lakers have thoroughly enjoyed thus far.
Caruso has upped his playing time from 18 minutes during the regular season to 24 minutes during the playoffs. The Lakers have basically been running an eight-man rotation and despite the return of Rajon Rondo, Caruso has been able to thrive in his increased role. The numbers are certainly not mind-blowing; however, his impact on the floor is without question and the Lakers look a far more well-rounded team as a result. After a short break, the Lakers will face either the Clippers or the Nuggets in the Western Conference Finals and Caruso's ability to play as a defensive stopper is likely to be vital as they strive for further success.
