• RJ Barrett
    SF, New York Knicks

The third overall pick in the 2019 draft, RJ Barrett, averaged 14.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.3 blocks, 1.1 threes and 2.2 turnovers in 30.4 mpg and finished the season with 259/323 per-game value (8/9-cat).

Similar to most rookies with high usage rates (24.0), Barrett struggled with his efficiency in his first season. He shot .402 from the field on 13 attempts, .320 from distance on 3.5 attempts and .614 from the free throw line on 4.5 attempts. This was the main reason why he finished outside the top-250 in per-game value in 8-cat formats. As he continues to learn the NBA game, Barrett has the ability to enter the standard league conversation. However, he is only worth a late-round flier in next year's drafts as there is no guarantee he will improve markedly season over season.
