Isaiah ThomasPG, Free AgentIn 40 games for the Wizards in 2019-20, Isaiah Thomas was unable to find the resurgence he was hoping to muster in order to bounce back from injury, winding up ranked 238th in 8-cat and 292nd in 9-cat per-game value on the season.
Thomas had hoped that he'd make a splash when he was signed by the Wizards, but it soon became apparent that he was not going to be part of the team's future. He provided unimpressive numbers in his stint with Washington, averaging 12.2 PPG, 3.7 APG and 2.0 3PG – a far cry from his glory days back with the Celtics. He was later traded to the Celtics as part of the Marcu Morris deal, but was later officially waived by the Clippers in early February. Thomas was unable to draw interest from other NBA teams after he cleared waivers.
