Then the Bills lost to the Patriots in Week 7 despite going in as 8-point favorites. The Bills have struggled three straight weeks in a variety of manners. Their defense has been hit with multiple injuries, but the offense still has the majority of its starters. The Bills need to bounce back in Week 8 to prove they are still a championship-caliber team.
Will the Buccanneers remain in the NFC South race? The Buccaneers had a shot in Week 7 to establish themselves as the team to beat in the NFC South division. They ended up losing to the Falcons and falling a half-game back of the division lead. The Falcons have been unpredictable all season due to QB play. The Saints have struggled on offense due to injuries and average at best QB play. The Panthers have yet to win a game. This division is very winnable, but the Buccaneers cannot afford to fall too far behind.
