Lean: 9-6 +3.05uWell, at least the Vikings also suck. But they should be better than the Bears, right? That’s probably true, even if they’re down Justin Jefferson for the next four weeks, and even if they have a knack for losing close games this season. The Bears have had a few positive weeks, but they’re still a less-than-good team with plenty of chaos and problems. It looks like they may have turned a corner, but can they stop a high-powered offense with proven weapons, even without their star receiver?
Main Storylines to Watch
Vikings Wide Receiver Room: The Vikings will be without Justin Jefferson and everyone wants to know who steps up without him there. The top candidates seem to be Jordan Addison and KJ Osborn, but I’d argue TJ Hockenson also gets quite a bump here. All of these guys can eat with another 10-11 targets up for grabs. I loaded up on Osborn as he was the most widely available, but buckle up and let’s see how this plays out.
Have the Bears turned the corner? Two games with sub-par opponents and suddenly the Bears are solved, right? Not quite. It was a nice win against the Commanders, and the Bears did well in the first half of the Broncos game before a terrible implosion, but I’m not convinced this Bears team can play with a team like the Vikings. It’s going to be difficult to keep this Vikings offense in check and if there’s anything I question about this Bears squad, it’s the defense.
