    Steelers -3 (-115), Texans +3 (-105)

Sundays starts off with a rivalry game in a division that is up for grabs. These Texans are looking for their first win of the season while the Jaguars are looking to separate themselves from the rest of the teams in their division. We’re looking for this game to be higher scoring than some of the rest of the games on this slate so there’s going to be plenty of opportunities for players to perform, but which ones will?

    Main Storylines to Watch

Does CJ Stroud continue his passing volume? Stroud has passed for 906 yards, the 5th most in the NFL. His volume has consistently given him two top-18 fantasy finishes (12,13). Though his team was playing with a lead for the entirety of the game, the Texans elected to pass to decrease the possibility of a comeback. This is a good sign for Stroud moving forward and if his volume remains constant, we should expect this consistency for the rest of the season. The Steelers will be a good test for that.

Will the Pickett and Pickens connection continue? Diontae Johnson has been on IR for these last two games and as we expected, Pickett took the majority share of the targets away from the other receivers. The first game was a success while the second game seemed more of a dud. What we’re looking for here is if Pickett will be hyper-fixated on getting Pickens the ball against this Texans defense.

What’s going on with both of these running backs? Najee Harris and Dameon Pierce have been struggling to start the season. Neither of these two is playing like the workhorse backs that we expected them to be. While Dameon has been able to get to the end zone, Najee hasn’t been able to. What we’re looking for here is if the Steelers would emphasize the run against a weak rush defense and if the Texans will start developing the run game to open up the pass game.
