Two teams and not a win between them. How pathetic have they both been? I expect a sloppy, duke-it-out game as both teams look to protect the football and not turn it over. I’m going to rely heavily on players who get yards with their legs here and otherwise, it’s a free-for-all as the two potentially worst teams in the league square off.

    Main Storylines to Watch

Is the Broncos defense historically bad? Fresh off a game where the Dolphins graciously spared them being on the wrong side of history, it’s fair to wonder if the Broncos have the worst defense in the league. They’ve given up the most points per game, but they did have 70 points hung on them last week. The Bears are ever so slightly “ahead” of them here, and I honestly believe the Bears have the worst defense.

Can Justin Fields recover? I was expecting the bounceback last week. It’s not that I believed the Bears would win, just that Fields, with his comments about being “less robotic” and playing more “free,” would have a better showing. That wasn’t the case. The small, small, infinitesimal ray of light? The designed runs have trended up every week for Fields. From 10% of plays, to 20% in Week 2, and 30% in Week 3. Hopefully that means a big game is here for Fields, though I understand if you feel it’s hard to trust him.
