Let’s take our attention out west to San Francisco where the division-leading 49ers play host to the rival Seattle Seahawks. The Niners come into the day riding a four-game win streak against the Seahawks including last year’s playoff game, with three of the four being two+ score games. Prior to that, however, it was Seattle who won four in a row. Pete Carroll, Geno Smith, and the rest of the team will look to start a new winning streak. On the other side, Mike Shanahan, Brock Purdy, and everyone else in San Fran are looking at the bigger picture, taking another step towards trying to obtain the one seed in the NFC.

Main Storylines to Watch

Who’s the odd man out for San Francisco?: This offense is humming, and all of the big pieces are guys that should be in your lineup weekly at this point. They are playing their best ball heading into the home stretch of the NFL season, but more importantly, the fantasy football playoffs. We are all confident that the player in our lineup is going to succeed, but that’s not always the case. In weeks where everyone plays, the best cumulative finishes were just last week. Purdy was QB2, CMC RB6, Deebo WR2, Aiyuk WR20, Kittle TE2. Week 10 also saw them as QB6, RB6, WR17 & 22 respectively, and TE 3. That’s the absolute ceiling for fantasy. Of the nine games those five have been healthy and played, six of those came with one or more player being unusable at their respective position.

Can the Seahawks keep it rolling on offense?: Last week vs Dallas on TNF was the best performance of the year by Geno Smith, DK Metcalf, and the entire offense for Seattle. It was reminiscent of how most of the 2022 season went for this group. Unfortunately, 2023 hasn’t been as kind to them. Against a tough defense that does have some holes, look for the Seahawks to continue to push the issue in hopes of making a postseason push.
