NFL FantasyPass: Week 10 QB Rankings

  • Want to know where your starting QB might wind up by week’s end? Here’s our guess as to where the QB ranks will shake out when the dust settles on Monday. We hope you’ll use this to determine who to start and who to sit, but also to try to determine if you’re favored at each position in your weekly matchup.

    Projected Finish Name Team Notes
QB1 Joe Burrow CIN After a slow start with the calf injury, Burrow is hot and served up an impressive win over Buffalo last week. He should put up big numbers agaisnt Houston.
QB2 Jared Goff DET Coming off the bye, Goff has a matchup with the Chargers defense that has only really looked good against Zach Wilson.
QB3 C.J. Stroud HOU It is hard not to chase the brilliance of last week too much, but he should be locked in a shootout with Cincinnati this week.
QB4 Josh Allen BUF The Denver defense has been unpredictable, but I would be surprised to see that Bills unable to bounce back after the loss in Cincinnati last week.
QB5 Dak Prescott DAL Dak was great against the Eagles despite the loss and now faces a Giants team they have already beat down once. As long as the defense does not account for all the points again, Dak should feast.
QB6 Justin Herbert LAC Herbert had a dud against the stellar Jets defense, but should be able to move the ball in what projects to be a shootout agaisnt Detroit.
QB7 Trevor Lawrence JAC The SF defense has been struggling lately. Perhaps the bye week fixed them, but I am not going to shy away from Lawrence in what should be a scrappy game.
QB8 Lamar Jackson BAL Lamar does not always convert dominant performances into fantasy points, but has been one of the best QBs in the league this year. Cleveland's defense is good, but Lamar is better.
QB9 Brock Purdy SF Purdy needs to fix himself up after a three game skid. The Jaguars defense has been pretty good, but the Niners offensive line should still be able to buy him time to find his start studded roster of weapons.
QB10 Geno Smith SEA The Seahawks were embarrased last week, but the Commanders just traded away their top two pass rushers. They still have talent in the middle, so the Hawks should look to play action where Geno excels.
QB11 Baker Mayfield TB The Bucs have not been able to close out games, but Baker has been solid. Tennessee's defense is weak after the trade deadline and Baker should come out slinging.
QB12 Russell Wilson DEN The Buffalo defense was embarrased by Joe Burrow a week ago and Wilson should be able to move the football.
QB13 Kyler Murray ARI Kyler could go crazy this week against Atlanta, but he has been out of the game so long I expect a little bit of rust. His floor is low and his ceiling high.
QB14 Joshua Dobbs MIN Dobbs was phenomenal last week. Now, with a week of practice he should be settled in nicely. The only problem is NO's defense which has been solid all year despite a lackluster game last week.
QB15 Derek Carr NO Minnesota's defense has picked things up as they are on a hot streak. Carr does not impress me but should carry a safe floor.
QB16 Will Levis TEN Levis came back to earth on TNF after a stellar first game. He has been making great reads and plays, but the surrounding talent is lacking and will inhibit his ability to be a top tier fantasy QB.
QB17 Gardner Minshew II IND Minshew did not have a great game in Carolina but he did not need to as the defense scored two TDs. The NE defense could give him fits, but they have been relatively vulnerable this year.
QB18 Taylor Heinicke ATL Heinicke should be able to move the ball agaisnt Arizona, but the gameplan from Arthur Smith makes no sense. Until they can figure out how to use the weapons properly, there is not much of a ceiling here.
QB19 Deshaun Watson CLE Watson looked good last week, but this is a much different opponent. The Ravens have the best defense in the league right now and Watson will have trouble without some division upset madness.
QB20 Tyson Bagent CHI The Secret Bagent is likely to start another game for Chicago with Fields considered doubtful. The Panthers defense has stepped up lately, but Bagent has not been terrible for fantasy. I do not expect a huge game, but he is at least above the bottom tier of players this week.
QB21 Bryce Young CAR Bryce had a tough rookie game but hopefully he learned a lot from the tape. Chicago's defense has not been a strong point so he may find Adam Thielen a ton of times again.
QB22 Jordan Love GB If Love was capable of putting together a full game, he would be way higher on the list, but he simply cannot put up big numbers with how bad the Packers' offense is in the first half every week.
QB23 Mac Jones NE Mac Jones is a bit of a sleeper this week against Indianapolis. The defense has been weak and is weakened by injury. Mac might put together a solid game this week.
QB24 Kenny Pickett PIT The fun headline of the week has been Stroud passing Pickett in TD passes in 13 fewer games played. Pickett is not good at finding the end zone and the Packers defense, while not incredible, is no slouch.
QB25 Aidan O'Connell LV AOC faces a tough Jets defense that gave Herbert fits. Pivot away wherever possible. The only hope is that Zach Wilson turns the ball over close to the end zone and AOC can convert that into TDs.
QB26 Zach Wilson NYJ Wilson looked terrible against a Chargers defense that has been lackluster this year. Vegas is fired up after the HC change and Maxx Crosby will be all over him early and often.
QB27 Tommy DeVito NYG DeVito is in a tough spot due to all the QB injuries in New York. He should not be trusted for fantasy value and will likely have the lowest passing volume of all QBs this week.
QB28 Justin Fields CHI If Fields is back this week, he has QB1 upside against Carolina. The Panthers defense has been much better than it was to start the year, but Fields's mobility will cause them issues. He was just deemed doubtful, hence the low ranking.
