    Fun Facts for the season

-The Grizzlies have changed course from their Spanish stalwarts in the last year as they played their first season in Memphis without a Gasol on the roster after 18 consecutive seasons with either Pau or Marc Gasol (the team moved to Memphis from Vancouver the same year that they drafted Pau Gasol: 2001-02 campaign)

-The Grizzlies have a young roster that looks like they will be competitive for the foreseeable future by looking at their leaders in minutes per game this season; at the time the season ended, the Grizzlies had five players average at least 20 minutes per game for the team and four of those players have three seasons or fewer of experience in the league: Ja Morant (30.0 mpg, rookie), Dillon Brooks (28.5 mpg, 3rd season), Jaren Jackson Jr. (28.0 mpg, 2nd season), Brandon Clarke (21.7 mpg, rookie)

-While Ja Morant, an explosive rookie who has helped guide his team to a potential playoff appearance, was able to produce 7th round per-game value in 8-cat formats, he still has a ways to go to be a standard league value in 9-cat due to the 3.2 turnovers he averaged per game so far this season as Morant currently ranks in the 11th round

-Jonas Valančiūnas got off to a slow start to begin the year in part due to a foot injury that he may have still been recovering from as he produced 7th/8th round per-game value over his first 18 games. However, he became the team’s most reliable fantasy player as he led in overall value and produced 5th/4th round per-game value over his last 44 appearances

-Fans will have to wait to see their starting five of the future as mid-season acquisition Justise Winslow is likely going to join the starters when/if the season resumes. Winslow had an ADP in the 10th round, according to Yahoo!, but was a huge disappointment as injuries never allowed him to find a groove. He only played in 11 games and produced 19th/24th round per-game value. Winslow has missed 53 percent of regular and postseason games over the last three seasons and will need to get healthy in order to enter the standard league conversation.

-Barring any major trade, the Grizzlies will have significant continuity season over season as they only have two free agents who played key roles for the team when the season ended: Josh Jackson (unrestricted) and De’Anthony Melton (restricted)
