Teams on Bye Week:
Cleveland Browns
Dallas Cowboys
Denver Broncos
New York Giants
Pittsburgh Steelers
San Francisco 49ers
Kenyon Drake (RB) – Ravens:
The running back waivers in Week 9 are incredibly thin, especially considering six teams are on bye. Gus Edwards tweaked his hamstring and left the backfield all alone for Drake. On Thursday night, he rushed seven times for 62 yards, grabbing all four targets for four yards and a touchdown. It’s definitely not the flashiest of adds, but fantasy GMs may be in a tough place with a number of the league’s best backs having the week off.
Use #1 Waiver Priority: No
FAAB Budget %: 10%
Joshua Palmer (WR) – Chargers:
The Chargers will be without Mike Williams for a handful of weeks due to injury, making Palmer a fantastic streaming option during his absence. Keenan Allen has been banged up all season too, so he may not be back at full speed even after the bye. Palmer is a strong flex play in all formats while Williams is out, especially with six teams on bye in Week 9. He has operated as the team’s second receiving option for the majority of the season and has put together a handful of fantasy relevant outings.
