    Overview:

The Packers and Cowboys square off on Sunday Night Football in Week 4 as America gets to gather round and watch Micah Parsons and the Packers inflict revenge on the team that opted to trade him away instead of paying for his talents. The Packers are coming off an upset loss to the Browns after blowing a 10-0 lead in the fourth quarter. Still, that game was more of a case of what can happen any given Sunday, but in all likelihood, the Packers are a much more well-rounded team than the Cowboys and should be able to handily beat them. Jordan Love and Josh Jacobs are steering the Packers’ offense, while the latter could finally explode for an assertive performance he’s lacked through three weeks. Rookie Matthew Golden is teetering on breaking out, but once he does, he won’t look back. Tucker Kraft has looked like the best player on the field sometimes, and could cement himself as an elite option if he can exploit the Dallas defense. As for the home team, Dak Prescott has looked like a superb quarterback, but it could be an uphill battle without CeeDee Lamb against this Packers D. However, having guys like George Pickens and TE Jake Ferguson will definitely soften that blow. There are some key injuries to both offensive lines coming into this game. Dallas will be without starting RG Tyler Booker, while GB starting RT Zach Tom and rotational OT Anthony Belton are ruled out, and starting LG Aaron Banks is also doubtful for this one.

    Quarterbacks:

Jordan Love is currently sitting at the QB15 on the year for fantasy football, and is coming off his worst performance of the young season against a tough Browns defense. The Packers should have full intention to put belt to behind in Dallas on Sunday night, so maybe we see Jordan Love log his first top-12 QB finish on the season against a complete 180 of a defensive matchup from a week ago. However, there’s also the possibility that the Packers roll the Cowboys on the back of their defense and just put things away on the ground, preventing Love from seeing a ceiling performance. Dallas is currently allowing the most fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this season. As for Dak Prescott, he was more of a back-end QB1 before the Lamb injury, and now he’s probably going to be somewhere in the mid-QB2 range given the matchup and the loss of such a high-caliber weapon. Being down Tyler Booker against the Parsons-led pass rush won’t make things any easier for Prescott, either. If you have better options out there, maybe avoid starting him, but he’s talented enough to still finish as a QB1 in this game. The Packers are surrendering the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing QBs in 2025.

    Running Backs:

Green Bay’s running back situation is simple. Josh Jacobs is an elite RB with a workhorse workload, and is an every-week start, including in this matchup against the Cowboys. He was mostly bottled up in Week 3 against Cleveland, but he made up for it with some heavy receiving involvement. He’s the RB18 on the season and has finished as an RB2 in every week, averaging 12.6 FPPG. The Packers being down multiple offensive linemen should negatively impact Jacobs’s expectations, but it may be less noticeable against Dallas’s porous defense, though the Cowboys DL have the sixth-best run stop rate in the NFL in three games. The Packers are also posting the fifth-worst RBWR on the year. Dallas allows the 12th-fewest RB fantasy points this season. Javonte Williams didn’t reach the ceiling he posted in Weeks 1 and 2, but he still had an okay game considering the game script and other factors. He’s the RB7 on the season, averaging 17 FPPG as a Cowboy. He lost some more work to Miles Sanders in Week 3, but Williams should still have a strong hold on the lead role in this offense. This is a downgrade for this matchup against GB, and Williams is more in the mid-to-late RB2 range this week. Green Bay has allowed the seventh-fewest fantasy points to running backs so far this year.
