The Lakers, who lost control early in Game 1, came out firing in Game 2—dominating the first quarter and setting the tone to even the series. Doncic was spectacular, and LeBron delivered a more balanced all-around performance than in the opener. The Timberwolves, by contrast, struggled from deep and couldn’t replicate their Game 1 efficiency. McDaniels and Reid, who had been key contributors, were notably quiet this time around. Back at home, I expect Minnesota to lean into their size advantage and bounce back with a strong offensive showing to take a 2-1 series lead.
