We Take it to San Antonio tonight for a  first Quarter Moneyline on the Spurs. As a Knick fan this isn’t easy but the numbers are there. Spurs shooting 52.8 eFG% allowing a 47.4 eFG%. Knicks shooting 50.3 eFG% allowing a  55.4 eFG%. SA average 1Q margin is +2.5 and +10.7 Last 3. Knicks -0.9 season average 1Q Margin, With a -9.3 1QM over their last 3 games. 

SAS average 1Q points Scored  27.7 SAS is Ranked 2nd Least points allowed in the 1Q Allowing 25.2 on the season. NYK scoring 26.2 allowing a 27.1 ( Ranked 21st or 9th Most allowed). League Average 1Q points scored is 26.9.  Spurs are 5-0 ATS First Quarter Last 5. Knicks 1-4. My model has this with Spurs by 4 and a 200 Point Total. I think second chance shots will play a big factor here. If the Spurs can limit the Knicks OR% ( offensive rebound %) they should be able to get themselves out front early by stopping them from getting those chances they slow them down.
